The Fazi Battaglia Winery was born in 1949 in a small town in Le Marche region, called Cupramontana. Its investments and production has been focused in the Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi Classico, a native italian Grape at that time barely known.
But the company decided immediately to leave the boundaries of the region to reach popularity all over Italy and abroad. His success comes from the uniqueness of the Verdicchio grape, for its great personality, elegance and freshness, and also for the challenging company that has worked with skill and has created a unique and instantly recognisable container to bring its wine in the tables all over the world, creating a timeless icons of the italian Wine and Italian trade mark design.
To date, Fazi Battaglia, after more than 60 years of research, experimentation and innovation, and thanks to its 250 hectares of prime vineyards located in the best plots in the area of Jesi, has succeeded in developing a huge range of Verdicchio wine of different taste and texture , enriched with a production of IGT Marche and Doc Rosso Conero.
Despite its very relevant development in Italy, Fazi Battaglia had been able to export it’s wines in numerous international markets. Its strength is still concentrated mainly in the Western countries, particularly in Canada, USA, Germany, England, Belgium, but is expanding into the emerging markets such as China, Japan and Russia. These results arrived thanks to the careful selection of collaborators and partners with whom Fazi Battaglia decided to develop the different foreign markets, and of course the always active engagement of the cellar to follow the search for quality and the high attention to the needs of the consumer and the modernity. Fundamental also the creation and the care of the website www.fazibattaglia.it, always updated, interactive, and with a useful e-commerce, one of the first for the wine business.
