Miami Scientific Italian Community is committed to the health and safety of all residents in wake of the developing outbreak of the Coronavirus (COVID-19), making the timely dissemination of actionable intelligence essential.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Recognizing that education is vital, Miami Scientific Italian Community recently begun sending out communication to regarding important facts about COVID-19 and what steps to take.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The notion that \u201cknowledge is power\u201d has taken on a whole new meaning in our present climate, with the need for the timely sharing of actionable information to outpace the spread of the coronavirus being paramount.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At this time we need to take common approaches to avoid spreading the virus such as routinely disinfecting common areas and washing hands.<\/p>

\u201cWe must all work together as one global community \u2013 public and private sector, as well as individuals \u2013 to address this health and humanitarian crisis,\u201d said Fabio De Furia<\/strong>, President of Miami Scientific Italian Community. \u201cAs the needs of our local communities continue to grow rapidly, we must act quickly to provide resources and knowledge where there are gaps, and help local communities protect their most vulnerable populations.<\/em><\/p>

\u201cWe will be news-driven, we will monitor all updates provided by the CDC, Florida Department of Health, local county and city municipalities for any advice or specific steps to take and will also include links to some of the most important resources scientists, companies and non-profits are referencing at this time\u201d.<\/em>
