Hotel Lunetta Rome is a 4* boutique hotel situated just a few steps away from the famous Roman square of Campo de’ Fiori.
Its success story is linked to the name of Giuseppe Cornetto Bourlot, a forward-looking businessman and owner of the building, who purchased the “Albergo Lunetta”, when was in a very precarious condition. But with his interest in the arts and Italian culture, as well as great sensitivity to the historical heritage of the country, he started important restructuring works which retained the most important characteristics of the building.
The restoration work revealed that the building was founded on the ruins of an ancient Roman Theatre, that of Pompey, and today guests can visit the wellness spa by walking through part of it; a unique experience in which to relax. Attention to detail and Bourlot’s determination to create a little gem of Italian hospitality, make the Hotel Lunetta Rome a privileged place to stay.
Decorated with contemporary paintings and antique furniture of the XVII century, there is not only the substance of style, but also the reality of excellent service – the staff attend to the guests with both courtesy and competence, and offer bespoke solutions to their individual needs.
With a proven experience in international hotel-chain management and service, they provide the needed expertise in promoting the concept of ‘the made in Italy’ approach.
Offering a high level of Italian cuisine, and delivering service of the highest quality, the staff of the Hotel Lunetta are a carefully selected and close-knit team and importantly, they possess two outstanding qualities – a belief in the project held by the Director, Mr Luca Rombi, and a dedication to bring it to fulfilment.
